What’s a CFC?

Corporate Finance Consultant Certificate (CFC), is a new career emerging in 2021.

Practitioners in this occupation are mainly responsible for providing financial planning, investment and financing planning, capital structure management, financial risk prevention and control, financial information consulting and other comprehensive consulting services for enterprises and other real economy institutions in banks and related financial service institutions.

Currently only the Associate Corporate Financial Consultant (CFCC) and Corporate Financial Consultant (CFC) certifications are open in the country.

Purpose of establishment: To cultivate talents required for comprehensive financial services who are familiar with the rules of the international market and can grasp the characteristics of domestic corporate finance business.

Examinations are held on the last Saturday of January, April, July and October each year.

Candidates who pass the exam, the CFC International Finance Certification Executive Committee Secretariat (China) will complete the certificate process within 40 working days after receiving the results. The Certificate in English will be awarded by Capital International and the University of Reading, UK.

Continuing education: A reporting period of every two years from the effective date of the certificate. Each reporting period permittee must earn 60 credits. Credit can be earned for online learning, offline activities, classroom activities, public publications, publications, and serving on professional organizations.
